Indigenous to South East Asia, the stems of this evergreen are well-known for their strong pungent taste and have a long history as an effective agent for minor pains and aches, particularly dental pain because of its numerous effects on oral tissues. Clove Stems are widely used in the making of Clove-cigarettes and Hawan pujan samgri.
